Nellie-Rose – Cake Smash Suffolk

I have always worked predominantly as a wedding photographer, intermittently dotted with portrait and event photography. I realised that this is probably because of my love for celebrating life and all the wonderful things that it means. Therefore as my next step seemed obvious, Birthday’s, as an Ipswich Cake Smash Photographer. So I decided to convert my conservatory into a cosy little studio, the biggest benefit to working out of my home is that guests experience a more comforting and welcoming feel to their experience. I realise that a birthday cake smash is often a birthday treat for both your little one and you want that experience to be special and one you can enjoy and look back on with fond memories. Therefore I never rush my guests, you are always made to feel welcome and I will always do my best to make your little one feel at ease.

Lovely little Nellie-Rose came to visit for her first birthday cake smash. We went for a floral simple styled theme, an Ivy background and creamy peach tones to compliment her beautiful skin. We ordered a beautiful ombre peach buttercream cake from the lovely Jess at Pickacake (www.pickacake.co.uk) and peony floral headband from wild thistle props. So often cake smashes are overloaded with props, but I so often see it gets to a point where the child gets lost in the picture. Therefore I wanted simplistic but beautiful, timeless elegance and certainly no tackiness. Here is the result, I hope you like them as much as I do!

Love Beth x
