The beautiful wedding of Danija & John.

Pale bricks, high ceilings, beautifully decadent rooms and exquisite food you can't really beat it. Butley Priory is a stunning venue in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. The historic gem is an Augustinian (yes I had to check how to spell that) is so well kept there is absolutely no way you would know that it is 700 years old. To think of all those that walked through the doors before this day gives you sense of being part of something timeless.

Neutral Wedding Colour Palette

In an age where we are un-in-dated with imagery, be it Instagram Tiktok or Pinterest, it can feel overwhelming to create a cohesive feel and colour palette. I've got to say Dagnija absolutely nailed the aesthetic. Going for warm neutrals it compliments the natural shades and tones of the buildings.

Invitations were from Rosemood Atelier, of whom I very proud to share that I am an ambassador, were simply exquisite. The stationary featured the floral concept of Gypsophila and Lilies. The smaller florals were styled in small individual clay pots, which were a pale grey and larger ones were in beautiful white ceramic vases. The insanely beautiful florals were created by Jasmine from The Fleur Girl.

Tables were covered in beautiful white table cloths with stunning tapered candles, yes there hundreds of different types of candles! My favourite candles by far are Erik & Ester tapered candles, however if your budget can't quite stretch to these a great alternative is H&M candles although these can be seasonal so I would advise buying these the winter before your wedding!

The Lovebirds

Dagnija and John were neighbours and have actually known each other an incredibly long time. A surprise romantic proposal at home led to this incredible day. You could see the love these two shared and it was an incredible day. Dagnija is originally from Latvia and there were so many beautiful traditions woven into the day.
